In less than 24 hours the Vols will kick off at Neyland Stadium for what fans hope will be the first SEC victory of the season.

Fans from the other side are taking on Tennessee in a brand new SEC rivalry.

In September, Gator fans came to town.

In October, Bama fans showed up.

Now it's November, and Mizzou fans are here in Knoxville.

"It was about an 11 or 12 hour drive. 677 miles from home to here," Mizzou fan Ed Kays said.

His RV got just 7 mpg on the trip to Tennessee.

Volunteers complete Scott Co. Boys & Girls Club "Field of Dreams"

A multi-purpose sports field was a project the Boys and Girls Cub of the Cumberland Plateau talked about for years.

The Scott County facility needed a place for the hundreds of kids they serve to run and play. They had a donated space next to their facility, but it was unsafe for the kids to play on because of the uneven, rocky terrain.

WBIR Channel 10 took on the project as a part of our parent company, Gannett's "Make a Difference Day."

We're just one day away from making the Field of Dreams a reality, and Friday was a busy one!

As part of Make a Difference Day on October 27, WBIR is working with the Boys and Girls Club of the Cumberland Plateau to build a multi-purpose sports field for the kids and community to enjoy.

The first load of sod arrived at the club in Oneida on Thursday, and Friday, workers are spending the day laying down approximately an acre of grass for the field.  On Saturday, WBIR employees and community volunteers will finish the work.

Game of the Week: Catholic at West

The USA Today High School Sports Game of the Week features a District 4-AAA match-up between West and Catholic.

The Rebels (5-2, 2-2) were the favorite to grab the district runner-up spot until they were knocked off last week by Lenoir City. After the loss, West dropped from No. 2 in the AP 5A rankings down to the No. 5 spot. They sit in fourth place in the district behind Lenoir City, Bearden and Maryville.
