Deputies believe stranded motorist died of weather exposure

Hunters discovered the body of man believed to have died of exposure to extreme weather in Campbell County.

Sunday afternoon, hunters found the body of Kenneth M. Mozingo, 32, of Duff in a wooded area several miles off the main road in the Tackett Creek area. Campbell County deputies believe that Mozingo's vehicle was stuck or broke down.

According to preliminary reports, investigators believe Mozingo died from exposure to extreme weather.

Mozingo's body will later undergo an autopsy at the University of Tennessee Forensics Center to determine the exact cause of death.
